Leading aircraft charter provider, Air Charter Service, has been placed 45th in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 list published in yesterday’s edition of the weekly newspaper [2nd October] with sales growing by 10% to £315.8 million.

The list, produced every year since 2004, ranks Britain's top 250 mid-market private companies by their turnover over the previous year, from published accounts.

Air Charter Service first appeared in the league table in 2011 at number 158 after previously being earmarked ‘One To Watch’ two years earlier and was ranked number 85 in last years’ countdown. ACS Group CEO, Justin Bowman, commented: “Last year we were delighted to be ranked 85th, but to move up so many places this year is recognition of our hard work and continued growth over the past few years, and we are delighted with our new position.”

2016’s list contains household names such as McLaren, TGI Friday and Arsenal FC. The 250 companies named on the list have a total revenue of £58.1 billion, and make up more than 3% of the UK’s GDP.
