Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, ACS was asked by a Brazilian construction company to transport a group of 40 builders from São Paulo to Belém, where they were urgently needed to help build a hospital for treating coronavirus patients.
Having originally booked a scheduled flight that was then cancelled, the client needed a same-day charter to avoid further delays. We sprung into action to ensure the builders arrived in Belém on time.

Aircraft: Embraer 190
We suggested departing from Viracopos International Airport, as it was less busy than Guarulhos International Airport and therefore an easier departure point from which to operate a same-day flight. The urgency of this job meant we had just a few hours to check aircraft availability, confirm a booking, arrange payment and prepare the crew for departure. Our experienced team quickly sourced an Embraer 190 that could accommodate the group and worked tirelessly to confirm the other elements of the charter as speedily as possible.
